Gucci Mane holds the official record for the largest discography by a hip-hop artist.
Over his decades-long career, he has pumped out an unprecedented volume of music, solidifying his status as a foundational pioneer of trap music.
He has 17 studio albums, including his latest album release, “Against All Odds.”
The album “Against All Odds” has 17 tracks and features Summer Walker on “Last Night In ATL,” OJ da Juiceman on “Lambo Pass By,” and Ice Davis on “Priorities.”
Ice Davis is actually Gucci Mane’s 6-year old son.
Ice Davis speaks in the intro of “Priorities” saying why he likes his dad, “My dad takes me to the park… plays with me… does fun things with me…” Then Gucci Mane goes on to talk about his priorities in life, his son, daughter, and wife.
The whole album “Against All Odds” has a theme of controversy, street credibility, and family priorities.
Gucci Mane faced intense industry scrutiny and public tension involving former label signees like Pooh Shiesty.
Tracks like “Back Against the Wall” and “Crash Dummy” address disloyalty, betrayal, and those who doubted or turned on him.
Gucci Mane has been able to sustain his career and sound over the decades throughout all the
challenges he faced.
Mental health problems, jail time, controversy, betrayal, and disloyalty didn’t break him.
He used these circumstances in his favor to create more music for his fans.
