The drama is brewing, the cameras are getting ready to roll, and Da Iconic Network TV may have just found its next wave of reality TV personalities.
Da Iconic Network TV touched down in Philadelphia on Friday, August 28, for a massive casting call—and judging by the personalities that walked through the door, Philly came ready to make television.
The independent streaming network held auditions for four productions: Da Iconic Playboyz, Da Iconic Playgirlz, I’m Dat B*tch and Who’s Really Iconic?
However, this wasn’t your average casting call!
Competitors arrived ready to prove themselves, settle lingering beefs, challenge one another and, most importantly, secure their spot on the network.
The stakes quickly got higher.
Rapper and Da Iconic Playgirlz host Aakosha Bentley joined the judging panel looking for personalities who could truly live up to the word iconic.
The “Florida Water” rapper brought her signature energy to the room while putting hopefuls to the test.
Then came the announcement that changed everything: $2,500 was on the line for the person who stood out the most
However, money wasn’t the only surprise.
Network owner and executive producer G. Syier Hawkins Brown announced that selected cast members would immediately enter the casting house and begin filming Who’s Really Iconic?
In other words, there was little time to celebrate. Getting picked meant going almost directly from the audition room into reality TV.
And with tensions already brewing, there appears to be no shortage of storylines.
From drama that has reportedly been building inside the cast chats to ongoing issues involving OG Playboyz, personalities arrived in Philadelphia with history—and some were ready to address it face-to-face.
If the auditions were any indication of what’s coming once everyone is under one roof, Who’s Really Iconic? could get chaotic very quickly.

The Philadelphia casting call is also another sign of just how aggressively Da Iconic Network TV is expanding its original programming.

A Day In Da Life takes the network into docuseries territory by spotlighting CEOs, moguls, artists, influencers and celebrities, while Backyard Brawls brings an entirely different level of action to the platform.
Add Who’s Really Iconic?, I’m Dat B*tch and the network’s upcoming productions into the equation, and Da Iconic Network TV is steadily building its own reality entertainment universe.
What makes the formula work is simple: big personalities, real-life relationships, competition and cameras there to capture what happens next.
Philadelphia just became the latest chapter.
The auditions are over. The cast is being assembled. The beef is already brewing.
